Personally, I find Twitter to be such a great place for cold outreaches. I'd suggest following PMs you admire and just engaging with their content on a regular basis even when you're not job hunting. You learn a lot of course, but when you do need to reach out, it's less transactional!

Ah I never considered Twitter or reddit. Engaging on a regular basis sounds like a great way to get genuine long lasting professional relationships
